Your Jeff seemed like a wonderful husband and father and my heart goes out to you and your beautiful (and so damn cute!) kids!

Secondly- my dog and Fuckles could be twins behavior wise. My Abbers is a lab who had a fear of thunderstorms that turned into a fear of everything. We have ripped dry-wall, mangled metal door knobs and at least 5 destructed kennels. *sigh* I so feel for you there.

Our vet wouldn't treat Abbers any more b/c her problems were so bad, so we went to Cornell and got Abber on TWO different anti-anxiety meds. They seem to have taken the edge off.

Also recommended to me was melting cheese in a kong for a treat to keep her busy. And buying a toy/ball that makes Abbers work to get her food out- something like this: http://ppepetsupplies.net/Buster-FUN-Food-CubeActive-Dog-Toy/M/B000EB5A5A.htm?traffic_src=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_source=froogle

The goal is to keep Abby busy with the Kong/food when we leave the house.

Best of luck!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13290195926443418632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27694675.post-3268512082375484962008-11-23T21:12:00.000-08:002008-11-23T21:12:00.000-08:00This is going to sound a little gross and is more ...This is going to sound a little gross and is more of a "summer treat" than cold winter one but...we used to put dog food in water til it soaked in and expanded ~ then filled the kongs with that and put them in the freezer - then, when we'd leave we'd give our dog a frozen kong and it would take him awhile to get the frozen pieces apart and eaten...darciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03611334115957929814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27694675.post-73353659639386653022008-11-23T17:15:00.000-08:002008-11-23T17:15:00.000-08:00Geeeeeez Fuckles!Loved catching up with your stuff...Geeeeeez Fuckles!
Loved catching up with your stuff, I'm bawling again...XXxx
(P.S.
