We haven't been doing anything...monumental. Just hanging out with good buddies.
Dissecting deceased pet goldfish in search of the lense in their eyes (Liv's desire that could not be quenched until we checked it out no matter how many reservations I had)...Sorry for the graphic nature of the photo! You can see the lense near the top of the photo.

You have such a full and engaging life and you expose your kids to so much NEAT stuff (goldfish included), allowing them to explore when others might say "that's dirty". I strive to be that kind of mom. Kudos to you...especially having the presence of mind while walking through your grief.
you're doing a remarkable job - just letting the kids be kids and enjoying those you love. nothing better. i love the pics (the one of two bums on the toilet is priceless!) and am so pleased to see the norms of your day-to-day... much love.
Wow, I'm impressed with Liv. Maybe she's going to be a marine biologist or a surgeon! I can't imagine dissecting a goldfish eye. Good for you guys.
