Jackie, It is quite something to be your friend. To watch you pour your energy into making your children's days fun and know that when the day isn't yet done but your energy has been spent, that somehow you will carry on. And that it's not because your marriage didn't work that Jeff is gone, it is because he died in your arms. And I wish, wish, wish that my arms were big and strong enough to rock you into the heavens so you could rest awhile in your husband's arms. You are a warrioress, Jackie. You are a heroine. Love you BIG, Tanis xo!
This blog contains a fair amount of swearing, painful and difficult subject matter. If you have objections of any kind, I believe it's your right to not agree. But, please, keep those objections to yourself and keep yourself busy withsomething else.
A few musings of a homeschooling, crafting, neurotic, organic loving and, most of all, kiddo adoring mommy...I've now become a widow. My best friend and husband died of a pulmonary embolism on March 25th, 2008. This blog has now become a place for me to mentally unload and try to figure out how to do this and who I am without him.

Those are some great shots. Seeing Briar holding the chickens just makes me want some of my own all the more. Maybe one day, right?
